Tuesday, Makch 18. (Before Mr J. K. Bartholomew, S.M.) Undefended Cases. —Judgment by default was given in the following undefended cases: —The Otago Farms rs’ Co-operative Association v. William Warren (liavensbourne), claim £5 5s lOd on account stated (costs £2 4s Cd); J. D. Best v. R. J.. Ferguson (Hiller’s Flat), claim £5 5a for suit supplied (coele £2 Os 6d); V. M. Dickinson v. Ernest Bell (Invercargill), claim £5 12s 4d for goode supplied (costs £1 10a 6d); same v. David Robertson (Highcliff), claim 15s 2d for tinsmith work dono (costs J3s); Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company (Mr J. Odder) v. Walter Lowther, claim for possession of premises at 60a York place, together with rent amounting to £2l Ms (costs £3 11s). Judgment Summons' Cases.—John H. Aitcheson, coal merchant, Palmerston, claimed £32 18a 9d from Alfred W. HnrndeJl (North-East Valley) on a judgment summons, —Mr W. G. Hay, who appeared for the judgment debtor, slated that judgment wae obtained against the debtor in May last, and he had since married. He was earning about £4 per week. The judgment debtor did not appear, and an order was made for payment of the amount with costs (£1 7s) forthwith, in default one month’s imprisonment in Dunedin goal. A. Ginglcs, coal merchant, applied for a judgment summons order against John Putze (inalster), claiming the sum of £1 9s 9d, with costs (Ts).—Judgment debtor, who was represented by Mr W. E. Moore, said he was in arrears to the extent of and was prepared to file if ho had the necessary filing ice. He was earning £4 19s per week, out of which he paid 35s per week, house rent.—The Magistrate (raid he could not sec his way to make an order. ’1 nc application would- lie refused.
