A REFRESHING CHANGE. The coolness of yesterday came as a welcome relief after the heat of the previous two days, and there is no doubt that the steady fall which lasted through Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning did a great amount of good. An unexpected shower last night registered 11 points, making a total of 70 points for the month. This district requires several days of steady rain to restore things to normal.
