UNIVEESITY STUDENTS’ ACCOMMODATION. TO THE EDITOB. Sir,— Some months ago you had a leading article in your paper on the necessity ot the University authorities finding suitable accommodation lor the hundreds of students who come to Dunedin every year. Knox College serves a most useful purpose, and it seems a pity that more buildings of this sort arc not available. It is a great thing to have the students together as much as possible in their •'Houses.” What is the use of enlarging our Medical School, our Dental School, our domestic science, and other departments, and inviting hundreds of students from all parts of New Zealand to come to this “Edinburgh of the South” if we cannot provide that most necessary adjunct —good accommodation and good ‘•houses' 1 under Christian management? It would be interesting to know what is being done in this direction. 1 trust you will again take the matter up both in the interests of the students and of the city itself.—l am, etc., Ex-Student.
THE PROVINCIAL HOTEL. This well-known house each year is becoming more popular, both as a place at which to stay and also as a place at which to got refreshment. Mr Coughlan, the proprietor, stocks the best of liquors only, and his draught whisky would be hard to beat anywhere. He extends a hearty welcome to all. —Advl. A word in season to all who have a Cold, Cough, bore Throat, Influenza, or Branchial Trouble-Take "NAZOL” and get immediate relief. Sixty dcses for Is 6d.—Advt
