CLAIM ON AUSTRALIAN SOLDIER. Piaoa Aaaociation —By Telegraph—Copyripit^ LONDON, February 12. A Brighton woman who in 1919 married Samuel M'Curry, an Australian soldier, who afterwards deserted her and their child, to-day obtained a maintenance order against him. The application was made under an Act passed in 1922 allowing claims against defaulting husbands residing in countries who had made reciprocal arrangements. The system was only extended to New South Wales' in January. The woman gave evidence that her husband was now residing in Sydney.
