His Note is likely to be considered at the Ambassadors’ Conference. —Reuter. BRITISH IMPORTS FROM GERMANY. AN AGREEMENT REACHED. LONDON, February 25. In the House of Commons Mr W. Graham (Financial Secretary to the Treasury) announced that an agreement had been reached with Germany as a result of which the rate of the British Reparation Levy on imports from Germany would be reduced from 26 to 5 per cent, as from February 25. Germany had agreed to compensate German exporters later, and to make it a punishable offence to charge any part cf the levy _to the British importer. Customs receipts respecting imports prior to February 26 would be reimbursed by Germany in gold bonds.—Reuter.
