ANNUAL CONFERENCE. fFBOM 008 Own Cobeewondient.) AUCKLAND, February 27. The annual conference of the New Ze*. land branch of the British Medical Association which-opens in Auckland on Friday will be attended by several overseas representatives Mr W. J. Mayo, of Rochester, United States, and Sir John Lynn Thomas, of Cardiff, are on the Niagara, which wifi, arrive in Auckland to-morrow. There are 15 delegates from Australia A civic reception will be tendered to the delegates on Friday, and in the evening a reception at which the Governor-General, Viscount Jellicoe, will be present, will be given by the Mayor and the members of the City Council. The Governor-General will open the conference. The subjects will be dealt with by three sections—medical, surgical, and special. Other subjects wil be considered by the conference as a whole. A comprehensive programme of social functions has been ar * ranged. This includes a reception at Government House, a trip to Rotorua, and other excursions of various kinds.
