SOUTH AFRICAN OLYMPIC TEAM.
INVITED TO AMERICA. (Feom OC’H Own Corhkspondent.l PIETERMARITZBURG, Jan. 18. The chairman of the South Africa University Athletic Federation has received a communicaton from Mr George W. Orton, manager of relays, University of Pennsylvania, proposing that the South African universities should send a team to compete nt the famous Pennsylvania relay carnival. The matter is beinrr considered, together with the suggestion that in connection with it the South African Olympic team should travel to Europe via New York.
