On Monday the Cargill Road Methodist Harriers held their annual meeting, the chair being occupied by Mr W. W. Ashby. The business was put through smoothly and quickly. The balance sheet, which showed that a larger credit balance than bast year would be carried forward, was unanimously adopted, together with the annual report. After the election of officers the following resolution was carried:—‘‘That this meeting protest® against the compulsory registration of non-racing members.” The membership of the club is increasing, and it is hoped to have at least 25 members at the opening run.
