' Clause 1 of the new regulations, providing that the contest rules and regulations .shall be the same for both the North and the South Island Associations was adopted unanimously. Regarding clause 2, providing that the championship contests shall be held in the North and South Islands olternately, Mr Goodall asked if there was any guarantee that the agreement, if concluded, would be carried out. The chairman replied that a legal document dealing with the matter would he drawn up.—The clause was adopted. The clause limiting the amount of the contest prize money to £6OO was lost.
