Partridge and Manning, both of whom ware injured in the accident, wero remanded on charges of stealing a motor car and causing grievous bodily harm to the injured persons. A motor car toppled over an embankment at Heathcote on February 37. One woman was critically injured, other occupants were sent to hospital, and five others were injured It was subsequently discovered that the car had been stolen from outside its owner’s house at Darlinghurst, and the party was joy-riding. Later two men who visited the injured people in hosiptal were arrested in connection with the theft.
