(Received January 10, at 8.25 p.m.) On his return from South-East Africa Mr “Pussyfoot” Johnson greeted pressmen with the statement: “I am not going to die until the whole world is dry. Prohibition is making progress in England and South Africa, and the Sultan of Zanzibar is an ardent prohibitionist. rle related how hooligans gave mm trouble in Port Elizabeth. “It was a wild night trying to make a speech,” he said, “but I waited until the next night, when 100 scholars of the university threw the brawlers out and main.ained order.” Mr Johnson added that his travels were beginning to take physical toll.
