The Woilaki County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds and fourths, amounting to £9B 2s lOd, accrued for the period ended October 31, last. —Approved. The Manitoto County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of £244 7s lid, being thirds and fourths accrued for period ending October 31, 1923. —Approved. MISCELLANEOUS. Mary Paget applied to exchange occupation lease for renewable lease over section 73, block I, Fraser district, area 15a 3r 34p. Resolved that renewable lease be granted in terms of section 193 of the Land Act, 1908, at a capital value of £6O; new lease to include closed road, section 1228 r. F. O’Leary applied for a rehearing of the application by Campbell Bros, to purchase closed road in" section 1 of 4, block V, Otokia. —Held over. M. Paget and others applied to exchange occupation lease for renewable lease over section SO, block I, Fraser, area 28a Or 20p.— Resolved that renewable lease be in terms of section 193 of the Land Act, 1908, at capital value £141). A letter was received from a solicitor in ference -to deficient improvements on section 9, block XIII, Rimu district, of which Mrs J. I. M’Lachlan is the licensee. —Resolved that licensee , be called upon to make a determined start with the improvements on the commencement of the next bush-falling season, failing which the license will be forfeited. • ■ * The matter of rent payable on area of 14 aerse' in/ 'block XX, Tua-peka East district, recently transferred to Albert Wm. M’Cunn was submitted for consideration. —Rent increased to £2 per annum from November 14, 1923. The application of Ernest Sanders for a small area- of river flat situated north ol Lowburn Creek on run 245 e, was refused. The board wasr requested to consider the question of disposal of section 48, block 111, Oamarn district, and closed road adjoining. Wm. Henry Isdale applied to purchase that portion of • closed road containing 3 roods 3 perches, adjoining his section 54.—Resolved that section 48 and part of closed road be offered ' for sale by public auction. Mr Isdale’s application to receive further consideration. ' The-ranger was instructed to report on the application jof A-Ugusena Harris, licensee of run 199 k, Tpapeka Vincent, for an extension.- - - - Jas. O’Fea, .lessee of section 9, block X, Shotover district, applied for a renewal of his lease, area 23a lr 31p.—Lessee to be offered renewal of lease at rent of £3 10s r per annum. Mrs L. Stafford applied for a renewal of lease over section 59, block IX, Tigef xj.-*-S.D. —Lessee granted renewal of lease at a rent of £l9 8s per annum. Alex. Deans, lessee of run 200 c, applied for a grazing license over section 12, block XIII, Benger district, area 22 acres.—Yearly grazing license granted under section 130 of the Land Act, 1908, at rent of £1 2s per annum.
