NEW YORK, January 7.—Sailed: Penany, for Sydney. SOUTHAMPTON, January 7. —Arrived: Omar, from Sydney. The Holmdale sailed last night for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton. and Wanganui. The Waikawa, her overhaul completed came out of dock yesterday afternoon and sailed for Newcastle. The Port Hacking left Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for further loading at Napier, Gisborne, and Wellington. The Stella, which has been sighted with a view to selling, came out of dry dock yesterday, her place being taken in dock by the Gale, which is undergoing overhaul. The Waipori, from Auckland, via Wellington and Lyttelton, is due here on Sunday, and is to sail on Monday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Karori is to leave Auckland on Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, and Bluff The Corinna, from Wellington, is due hero early this morning to load for Nelson and New Plymouth, via porta. The Kaikoura is to go down to Port Chalmers this evening or to-morrow morning to load wool and general cargo for Great Britain. The Baden Powell is due here this morning with a cargo of timber from Tort Craig. This trip the vessel's name will be changed to Oreti. She is to sail to-morrow for Invercargill and Port Craig. Messrs J. W. Swift and Co. advise that the Port Hunter is to sail from Melbourne about January 25 for Home. Among her passengers will be Misses B. Hedges and M. Ford, of Dunedin. The Ngakuta is to come up from Port Chalmers to-day, and is to sail to-day for Timaru, Westport, and Greymouth. KARAMEA, FOR HOME. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Karamea, from Timaru, via Blufi, is due at Wellington to-morrow, and is to sail on January 15 for London, via Montevideo and TeneriSe. MAMAEI TO LOAD. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advise that the Mamari arrived in Auckland on Saturday from Brisbane to commence loading for London. From there she will proceed to Russell, Gisborne, Picton, and Wellington, and is due *at Wellington on January 22, sailing on January 26 for Lon don, via Montevideo and Tenenfie. TO LOAD FOB ENGLAND. The Essex, which has been fixed to load for West Coast ot England ports, is due at New Plymouth on January 17 from Brisbane to commence loading. From thence she proceeds to Wanganui, Napier, Gisborne, Wellington, and Lyttelton, and sails finally in the first week in February. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels were expected to be within range of the under-mentioned wireless stations last night:—Auckland: Canadian Cruiser, Cornwall, Middlesex, Nowshera, Pinna, Port Victor, Suffolk, Tofua, and Wingatui. Wellington: Wahine, Maori, Turakina, Whangape, Kaimanawa, Ulimaroa, Maunganui, Rotorua, Tutanekai, Mararoa, Port Hacking, Waipori, Sussex, Waimarino, Coolana, and Ling Nam. Chatham Islands; Trelyon, Enroll, and Westmoreland. CALONNE TO LOAD WOOL. Advice has been received that the steamer Calonne is expected to arrive at AVangamu from Newcastle on January 18 to commence loading wool for London, and probably Dunkirk and Hull, dhe will subsequently take in wool at Napier and Wellington, and should sail from there finally on January 31. THE ATHENIC. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Athenic was to leave Lyttelton yesterday to discharge and load at Timaru. She will complete at Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail from there on January IK) for Southampton and London, via Panma. WAIMANA DUE SATURDAY. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line steamer Waimana, from Auckland, is due here on Saturday morning to continue discharge. She will then load for Home at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, Hick’s Bay, end Auckland, and is to sail about February 9 for London. THE POET ELLIOT. Messrs J. W. Swift and Co. and H. L. Tapley and Co., joint agents for the C. and D. Line, advise that the Port Elliot, from New York, which arrived at Auckland on Monday, will continue discharge at ’Wellington and Lyttelton, and is due here on January 14 to complete unloading and load for Home. Prom Dunedin she will proceed to Lyttelton, Tokomaru Bay, Napier, and Wellington, and is to sail on February 15 for London, via Las Palmas. THE POET SYDNEY. The same companies advise that the Port S-vduey, from London, is due at Auckland on January 17. She will continue unloading at Wellington and Port Chalmers, where she is due about January 30. She will lead for Boston, New York, and Great Britain at Port Chalmers, Bluff, and northern ports, and is to sail from Auckland about the end of February.

TREPUSIS FROM MONTREAL, The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Trefusis, from Montreal, via northern ports, is to leave Timaru this afternoon, and is duo here to-morrow morning to complete discharge. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. The Canadian Cruiser (Captain E. C. Sears) from Montreal and Sydney (Cape Breton), arrived at Auckland on Saturday morning. She left Montreal on November 25, meeting with minor delay in the river owing to a slight fall of snow. Sydney (Cape Breton) was cleared on the 30th, and on December 10 the vessel arrived at Colon, stopping there for oil bunkers. Canal transit was obtained in the afternoon, and Bolboa cleared at 9 p.m. The voyage across the Pacific was uneventful, and was made in 24 days 14 hours, which is a record for steamers on this line. Captain Sears has with him: Mr S. A. Parker, chief officer; Mr J. Nauffts, second; Mr P. B Young, third; Mr J. M. Roche, chief engineer; Mr A. Hall, second; Mr E. Etches, third: Mr R. White, fourth; Mr W. Easson, fifth; Mr E. Caine, chief steward; Air T. T. Cutten, wireless operator.
