AIR SURVEY OF POLE
UNITED STATES PROJECT, NEW YORK, December 4. Arrangements for an air expedition, directed by the navy, to undertake an intensive survey of the North Polar regions in the coming summer, are being made at Washington. It has not yet been decided whether to use the giant dirigible airship Shenandoah (ZRI) or aeroplanes. A special board has neon appointed to study the details. President Coolidge has given his formal authorisation.
