This is the display of Madame Menere, the well-known Christchurch Furrier, who recently returned to New Zealand from England, Europe, and America after having made arrangements with the leading furriers of the Old World to secure the exclusive New Zealand gelling rights of their furs. These sample coats and wraps reached New Zealand only a few days ago, and comprise magnificent garments which are tempting in their beauty and in their magnificent style, depicting models the like of which have neve* been seen in New Zealand before. Hie garments include Real Seal, Ermine, Skunk, Marmot, Beaver, Mole, White Arctic Fox, Squirrel, Wolf, etc. Every coat is a model of next season’s style, and reflects the trend of London and Paris styles.
