SAVED FROM DROWNING.
LAD’S PLUCKY ACT,

KELSON, December 6.
A plucky rescue was effected in the Maitai Elver by Richard Washboum, a lad 13 yea-rs of age (a son of Dr H. E. A. Washboum), who dived for and rescued D. Kenning, a fully grown man, who had gone down for the last time.
