The morning Post’s Rome correspon dent says: “A band of young Fascists surrounded Signor Nitti’s suburban residence. They overcame the carabinieri, who constantly guard Jiis house, and swarmed through the building firing revolvers and shouting for Signor Nitti’s blood. Signor Nitti managed to mde. The invaders did much damage. Reinforcements of police cleared out the marauders.
“The Fascists attribute to Signor Nitti all Italy’s' recent woes. The newspapers violently attacked him for a message to American newspaper men, in which he is reported to' have declared that Italy's condition was Worse than it was in 1918.
