VORONOFF TREATMENT
EXPERIMENT ON RACEHORSE.
ANIMAL DIES DURING OPERATION
Fre<M Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, December 5.
Ayala, a famous Belgian racehorse, aged 24 years, died on the operating ■table while Dr Voronoff was rejuvenating him. The horse took the anaesthetic badly, and his death was due to violent resistance, during which he fractured his pelvis. This was not noticed by the surgeons, several of whom were present, and internal hemorrhage caused by a splintered bone piercing a vein ended fatally.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
