RAILWAY GANGER INJURED If ARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH. (Peb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 16. A sensational accident befel John M'Naliy, Banner in charge of the Rangiora-Ashley section of the railway, tin* evening. He was crossing the Ashley River bridge on a nigger when he became aware of the fact that he was being overtaken by the passenger train, to Christchurch, lo save himself from being run down he threw himS “lf over the bridge, and the jigger also ieft the line. M'Nally fell 14ft on to the bed of the river, and was injured internally. Ho was removed to the Christchurch Hospital. «
