ATTEMPT ON M. TROTSKY’S RIFE. WOUNDED IN THE HEADFrau Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 14. A Moscow message reports that M. Trotsky’s non-attendance at the anniversary celebrations of the Red revolution on November 7, is stated to be due to his sudden illness: but it is really due to an attempt on his life. When he was delivering a speech a revolver shot from the auditorium hit M. Trotsky on the head. The greatest secrecy is maintained as to the extent of the 'wound. It is reported that a surgeon from Munich has arrived at Moscow, and is attending M. Trotsky.—The Times.
