LADIES’ BOWLING CLUB.

The Dunedin Bowling Club, at a meeting field vchterday afternoon, decided to form a: ladies’ section of the dub. The o!ub> small green will be available for lady players oh any afternoon of tho week except Saturdays. ' Only the wives, daughters, or other near relatives of present members will bo allowed membership in the ladies’ section. The subscription rate has been fixed at 7s 6d per member. Mrs S. Hutchison was appointed secretary, and a committee consisting of ’ Mesdames Stuart, Nicholson, Bolwdl. Duthie, Alexander, Burk, and Higginson was set up. It was decided to meet again later in the work for tho purpose of electing a president.
