THE ALL BLACKS.
TOUR OF GREAT BRITAIN. THE PROGRAMME OUTLINED. (Pbb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. November 8. At a special meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union this evening it was decided to accept the invitation from the English Rugby Union to play a series of matches in Great Britain, and two in Franco. The terms agreed upon are: The team to leave New Zealand at the end of July, 1924. Arrived in England on September 1, the team to have a week's rest before opening its tour; 30 matches to be played—2B in Great Britain and two in France with one week’s rest between the Test matches. The players will receive no allowance. The English Union declined the New Zealand Union’s suggestion that three shillings a day be allowed. Though not officially slated this may have the effect of limiting the choice of players to single men. It is also believed that the itinerary will include matches against England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
