MALE CHOIR CONCERT.

A number of new part songs have recently been received by the Dunedin Male Choir, and several will be presented in addition to some old favourites, at the .society’s concert, which will be hold in His Majesty’s Theatre next Saturday evening. The choir, under the conductorship of Dr Victor Galway, has held several rehearsals. The new part songs arc “The Roysterers,” by B. Luard“Coronach,” and “‘Break, Break, Break,” by Cyril B. Roothnm, and > a majestic arrangement of “Scots wha hac’,” by Hugh S. Robertson; old favourite in Schubert’s “Serenade,” Smart’s “Queen of the Night,” Pinsuit’s “The Sea Hath Its Pearls,” and Walford Davies’ “Hymn Before Action,” will also bo given. Vocal and instrumental solos and vocal quartettes will also be included in the programme.
