An unusual accident occurred to a motor omnibus which plies between New York and the village of Nyack, 27 miles away. The ’bus was returning to the city, and after negotiating a comer skidded and collided with a concrete mixer, smashing the boiler. All the windows of the 'bus were broken, and 16 of the women passengers were badly scalded by the escaping steam. Three are not expected to recover. Oho divorce is granted every four minutes in the United States. There is one divorce for every nine marriages, and the number of decrees is increasing three times as fast as the population.
