SEACLIFF-WARRINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual congregational meeting ot the How I i ff-W a rri ngt oi i Presbyterian Church was held in the Soacliff Church on Tuesday evening last. In spite of the extremely wet evening the church was almost filled, The Rev. William Scorgie, moderator of the charge, presided. The annual financial statement and the usual annual reports were read and adopted, and a committee of managers appointed consisting of Messrs A. Familton. W. R. Wilson, F. Taylor, A. B. Wiley, J. Walters, W. A. Park, J. Shearer, and W. G. Anderson. Addresses were-given by the moderator and the Revs. A. M. Finlayson and J. J. Cairney. Congratulations to the congregation on the completion of the church and expressions of appreciation of the excellence of the work of the architect and caretaker were extended by the speakers. Mr J. L. Salmond, architect, and Air C. \V. Wilkinson contractor, suitably replied, and. wished the’ teoiigrogation much prosperity and blessing in their new home. Songs were given bv Mrs R. S. Anderson, Miss G. Marshall, and Mr J. M. Fyfe. and Mr A. E, M’Gregor; recitations by Mr J. Thomson; a violin solo hv Mr J. Walters; a trombone solo by Mr R. Peltitt : and violin and trombone duet by Messrs Walters and PettHt. Pianoforte selections were given bv Miss F r afcr and Miss Pbvllis Aitcbescn. M'ss Fraser, Miss Lena Marshall, and Mrs J. M. Fyfe were the accompanists.
