(Received Nov. z, at 10 p.m.) The Goodyear Robber Company announces that it hae purchased from the Gorman Zeppelin Company the right to construct Zeppelins in the United States. It is understood that the Goodyear Company contemplates bringing a corps of experienced German builders, designers, and engineers from the Zeppelin factories at Friedrichshaven to Akron, in Ohio, ■where a plant will be erected for the purpose of making the United States _ a large producer of the rigid type of airship for military a.nd commercial uses. The Goodyear Company at the present time is making arrangements for the War Department’s co-operation in the scheme. DETAILS OF THE PURCHASE. HIGH PRICE PAID. NEW YORK, November 1. (Received Nov. 2, at 10 p.m.) A message from Akron says that the right tb'manufacture Zeppelins, which has been purchased by the Goodyear Company, includes the right to manufacture all engines, machinery, and auxiliaries.
