FIFTEEN CHARGES AGAINST ACCUSED. THREE YEARS’ HARD LABOUR. (Per United Pher4 Association.) AUCKLAND, November 1. No fewer than 15 charges were preferred at the Supreme Court against Alfred Cossoy. The charges were forgery and uttering, obtaining credit while a bankrupt (five counts), and obtaining credit by fraud (nine counts). He pleaded not guilty. The charge of forgery and uttering was postponed till to-morrow. The jury returned a verdict of guilty on all 14 counts, and accused was sentenced to three years’ hard labour. The accused had a long record’ of icrimo in the dominion and in Australia.
