RECEIVERS FOR ASSOCIATED COMPANY. - Bt TeWirran'h— Copyright LONDON, October 31. On the application of the trustees and debenture, holders of the National Provincial Union Bank and the Bank of En eland, the Chancery Court has appointed receivers and a manager for Messrs Charles Marsden’s Sons (Ltd.). Counsel for the hanks stated that the company was one of the Becker group.—A. and N.Z. Cable. A recent message stated' that the Chancery Court had appointed a receiver end manager for the Becker Co. _(IAd.), paper pulp merchants, on the application of the National Provincial Union Bank. The bank’s counsel said that the companv’a affairs had arrived at a crisis owing to the failure of a certain Canadian company to meet iti liabilities. The receiver in the comnanv later stated that the business would he carried on with a view to reconstruction. _ It is hoped that the creditors will eventually receive payment.
