THE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. PROCESSION TO UNKNOWN SOLDIER’S TOMB. X. Proas Association—By Telegraph—Copyrii'it ROME, October 31. The celebration of the first anniversary of Fascism culminated in a procession of 30,000 persons, including; 1000 Mayors from Fascist municipalities and representatives of the Labour Guilds, to the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb, heralded by Signor Mussolini and the members of the Cabinet. Later the King and Crown Prince reviewed the procession in the Quirinal square. Signor Mussolini and the party leaders subsequently paid homage to the King in the Throne Room. A. and N.Z. Cable. The Daily Telegraph’s correspondent at Rome says: . “ I attended the celebrations at lunn, Cremona, Milan, Balagna, I lorence, and Perugia, and I must say that from one end of Italy to the other the verdict of the upper and middle classes is that Fascism has been the salvation of the country. It has immediately improved the spirit of the nation and given the country social peace, while it has immensely ameliorated the condition of both the intellectuals and the workers.” —A. and N.Z.
