SPORTS’ CARNIVAL.
An opportunity was given yesterday for public patronage at the Sports’ Wonderland Carnival in (he afternoon, ns well us in Iho evening. Tins opportunity will again be afforded to-day. The carnival met with continned success yesterda3 - , and in the evening another fine _ programme of entertainments was submitted. Miss Nocline Parker’s students again presented an enjoyable item, and another comedv. “My Milliner’s Bill.” was staged. In this Mr and Mrs A. R.- Card'nor and Miss N, Winkel were featured. An orchestral selection was rendered by the Returned Soldiers' Orchestra. and the St. Ivilda Band provided music during the evening. The positions of the princesses last night were ; Ladies’ Hockey ((Mrs Nelson) 1 Cricket (Miss Todd) Men’s Hockev (fMiss Park) 3 Association Football (Mrs Race) 4
