ferred to above. “Dad.” as he is affectionately known, is without doubt the moat popular member of the St. Kilda Bowling Club, and he. has the esteem and good wishes of every one with whom he comes in contact. The opening of the Anderson’s Bay Ladies’ Bowling Club took place yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance of lady bowlers and friends. Mrs Gall president of the Ladies’ Club, ra-.ended a hearty welcome to all. Mr A. Id. Tonkinson. president, also spoke. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent, refreshments taping dispensed by the lady members of the olub.
