IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUFFERERS. It is good news to sufferers from Hernia, or, as it is commonly called, Rupture, to learn that Mr A. IV. Martin, -who has don# such immense gocd to thousands of sufferers throughout Australasia —in many instances saving them from drastic surgical operations which had been recommended—has again returned to his home ■'cntre, ‘•Dunedin.” Once more, after eighteen annual visits, he returns to report successful treatment in innumerable severe cases in other cities, and brings_ with him written testimonials from patients, previous.ly treated, who were only too anxious to authorise him to use their names for the encouragement of others. .By war of illustration two of these testimonials have been reproduced during the past fortnight, and the following is a third:—Sir C. A. Matheson, of 138 Loach street. New Plymouth, writes; “It gives me pleasure to admit that after some years’ mg from rupture, as a result pf your treatment I got such instant relief that I was. able to follow my occupation as a tradesman (which necessitates a good deal of-, straining) without the slightest mcon-, venienco. 1 have now discarded your appliance and am extreme!v thankful for your skilful treatment. Mr Martin’s experience justifies him in believing what statistics assert— namely, that linlo of the popu' talion suffer from hernia, but it has also taught him that sufferers from this complaint are the most timid of mortals. They seem unable to conceive—having suffered so much from the comnlaint itself—that any treatment can be absolutely painless. Yet, such is the fact in regard to the Dr J. A. Sherman method of treatment' as applied by Mr A. W. Martin. Mr Martin may be consulted free at his rooms. Samson’s Buildings, Dowling street, daily from 10 to 12 noon. 2 to 5 p.m. ; Saturdays. ID to 12 noon. A booklet: on rupture and its treatment posted free to any sufferer.—2o/10/23.
