CONFERENCE AT GENEVA. Preaa Association—By Telegraph—Copyriget GENEVA, October 22. The fifth International Labour Conference has assembled. Mr Arthur Fontaine is presiding. Forty-two out of 57 States are represented. There is only one question on the agenda—namely, the determination of the general principles of labour inspection. Mr Fontaine referred to the laying of the foundation-stone of the headquarters of the International Labour Bureau yesterday as inspiring confidence in the future.— Reuter.
