She gave herself into custody, saying that she had three times walked into the sea. hut had failed to drown, as the waves bad washed her back. She had no friends in the world and wished she had her husband's pistol to do the job properly. The police gave evidence that a resident found her wandering and gave her a bed. but she climbed out of the window.
