DIOCESAN SYNOD.

FOURTH DAY. The third session of the nineteenth Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Dunedin was continued in St. Paul’s Schoolroom last evening, under the presidency of Bishop Richards, Bishop of Dnwslin. CATHEDRAL AFFAIRS. Dean Fitchett presented the following report from the Cathedral Committee:— After conferring with the Cathedral Chapter, and also advising with the Bishop, your committee reports that in opinion of the chapter the finance of the Cathedral must still be supported by a diocesan grant. Your committee recommends that the grant of £IOO made last year he renewed. The Dean notified that this report would ho supplemented by a confidential report to ho submitted to the House in committee. Tlie House went into committee to receive and discuss the report and supplementary report. On resuming in public it was reported that the report had he'm withdrawn, and the Synod rose at 10.20 p.m.
