FORGERY AND FALSE PRETENCES.
BIG'"SUM INVOLVED. (Peb-United Press Association.) NAPIER. October 19. Gerald Leonard Knowles, managing director of C. L. Knowles (Ltd.), pleaded guilty before the magistrate, Mr R. W- Dyer, to six charges of forgery and false pretence!,, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Three similar charges are being heard. The money involved in the first charges amounts to over £IOOO.
