PRESBYTERIAN ASSOCIATION. Tbo monthly meetinar of the committee of the P.S.S.A. was held on Wednesday last. Mr Somerville presiding The secretary reported that there were 80 children in the homes and 14 boarded out. The number of inmates in Ross Home was reported to be 46. The Rev. W Saunders reported visiting Ross Home every fortnight. Mr Somerville reported visiting the children’s homes and found all ''The Works Committee submitted progress reports on Ross Home contracts; Further reports on some of the association's homes were now under consideration. The financial statement showed that the receipts amounted to £761 12s, and the expenditure to £1528 12s lOd. The chairman reported that several suburban congregations bad been visited with a view to interesting them in (be association’s work. \ discussion on the work in connection with the children’s department, followed, and the House Committee was asked to draw a general policy report for consideration at a future meeting.
