OTAGO YACHT AND MOTOR BOAT CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Club was held in the secretary’s board room last night, Commodore W. R. Waters occupying the’ chair. The. Syllabus Committee submitted the syllabus for the coming season. It was decided that the buoy at Challis’s be taken on the port hand instead of the starboard hand.
The commodore handed to the committee the cup presented by Air B. S. Irwin for competition amongst the sailing boats, and it wa s left in tho hands of Messrs Waters, Sundstrum, and Pan! to draw up conditions for this cup as outlined by the committee. It was loft to the Sailing Committee to arrange for numbers for recalling boats crossing the fine before the start of the race. Mr Waters agreed to supply the necessary places for numbeis. Four new members were elected.
The Secretary submitted a list of those members whoso subscriptions were outstanding, and it was resolved to give these members final notice advising that unless they settle with the club immediately their names will bo handed to the Sports Protection Association.
