CONNOISSEUR OF BEAUTY

TWO HANDSOME WIVES. LONDON, October 3. Captain Herbert J. Bnckmastcr, whom Miss Gladys Cooper, the famous actress and one of the most beautiful women in England, divorced in 1922, was married again to-day. The bride is Miss Nolle Taylor, the Gaiety actress, who is also considered one of the most beautiful types on the English stage. Captain Buckmaster married Miss Cooper in 1908, when she was 19 years of age. In 1921 he sued the author of the revue “Just Fancy” for alleged libel, and was awarded a farthing damages. Jn his evidence, Buckmaster, who complained of a reference to him in the revue, admitted that his domestic life was unhappy. Ho attributed the disagreement to the fact that Miss Cooper associated with a well-known actress, whose name was not given.

Miss Cooper gained her divorce on the ground of adultery and desertion.
