DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Tlie jrricc of Waihi shares, which had receded slightly, rose rapidly yesterday. A parcel was sold at 2Cs 2d in the morning-, and in the afternoon a parcel realised as much as 26a 9d. The ordinary issue of Huddart, Parker shares had inquiry at 43a after a sale had taken place at tha’t figure, and Bank of New Zealands, of which there was a reported sale at 52s 6d, were sought on 'Change at S2s Gd with a seller at 52s 9d. Union Banks were offered on ’Change at £l4 IDs, at which there was a reported sale, but the highest buying quotation was £'l4 Ifis 6d. Sales: Waihi, 26s 2d, 26s 9d; Huddart, Parker (ord.), 42s (two).
