THE GAELIC SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the Gaelic Society was held last evening in Kroon's Hall, Chief William Duncan and Chieftain Donald Munro presiding. The following programme was submitted to an appreciative audience; Miss M'Leod, Gaelic song, " Chville Chavi!” and ’Mary"; Miss Georgina Munro, dance, Seamvtrubhais; Mr Campbell, “Rothesay May,” "Mary of Argyle,” and " Lochnagur” ; Master Mathieson, violin selection; Miss Kan Will, dance-clogs and an Irish jig; Mr M‘Bcath, Gaelic song, " Air a gille ha ma runn ”; Mr Fran!: Dow, “An Onion, Oh” and “ Hubert Thamson’s Smithy”; Piper Neil Munro, a bagpipe march. “ Dugal M‘Coll ”; Master Mathieson played "Highland Laddie ” on tire flute; Mrs Matheson, “Gala Water” and " Afton Water”; Chieftain Munro, Gaelic song, " A’ Bhoann again oen ” and “ Maidhainn no. haraidh ”; Mr Angus Kennedy, "M’ chealao dileas donn”; Mr Chisholm recited some humorous Scotch stories; Miss Joyce Smith and Georgina. Munro danced a double fling; Misses Munro, Miss Nan Will, and Miss Joyce Smith danced a foursome reel. Piper George Munro supplied the national music and Miss Davies was accompanist. The usual hour's dancing followed, with Mr Colin M‘Kenzie, jun., aa M.C.
