SALES OF WORK.
ST. CLAIR CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH. The “Busy Bees’ ” sale cf work at the St. Clair Congregational Church yesterday was well attended, and satisfactory business was done during both afternoon and evening. The “Busy Bees” are the Sunday Scliooi members of the London Missionary Society, and the sale was organised to raise funds for the fnrtherence of the (society's objects. There was a. fine supply of goods on the different stalls, and the work of decorating had been well done. Most of the articles for sale were made by the children themselves, who also arranged the decorations. The sale was officially opened in the afternoon by Mr 3. A. Wilkinson, who congratulated the children on their effort. The following were the stall-holders : Work Stall. —Mcsdames Hancock, Moody, Misses Stark and M'Dougall. Produce Stall. —Mrs Sarginaon and Miss Hancock. Sweets' Stall.—Misses E, Moody and M. Wilson. Refreshments. —Mrs W. Wilson and Mrs Hunt. Boys’ Work Stall. —Misses I. Niehol and M. Moody. GIRLS’ FRIENDLY SOCIETY. The Girls’ Friendly Society’s sale of work in All Saints’ Schoolroom was continued with renewed success yesterday, and the play, “Princess Zara,” waa again presented with credit in the evening. ’
