Company has ordered two 15,000-ton oil-burners specially for the Australian trade. They are expected to be ready at the end of 1924.' The company is also negotiating for a third similar steamer.—A. and N.Z. Cable. JAVA-PACIFIC TRADE UNPAYABLE. LONDON, August 28. The Hague correspondent of The Times states that three Dutch steamship lines, including the Java, China, and Japan Company, have decided to close down their Java-Pacific services, owing to tile, slump in trade.—The Times.
