1000 Miles* Trial VULCAN OMNIBUS A VULCAN 26-Passeng er Public Omnibus, similar in type to those of the fleet supplied to the Stockholm Central Omnibus Company, was recently entered for the 1000 Miles’ Reliability Trial of the Royal Swedish Automobile Club, and emerged with flying colours. The VULCAN scored 100 per cent marks, and was the only British machine in the trials, in which were two vehicles each from France, Sweden, U.S.A., and Germany. The going was so bad in places that the mud was rubbing the undershield, though the VULCAN has a clearance of 11 inches. Eleven VULCAN Omnibuses were placed on public service in Stockholm on June 15th of this year. * Wimpenny Bros. & Reid, Ltd. Vulcan Distributors for New Zealand, DUNEDIN & AUCKLAND.
