A MEMORIAL TRIBUTE.

“Erected by the footballers of Otago in affectionate remembrance of A. W. Morris.’’ A beautiful marble scroll bearing this epitaph was unveiled over the grave of the late Mr A. W. Morris, at the Riccarton Churchyard, by the president of the Otago Rugby Union, Mr W. J. Wilson, on Friday aftornqon. Members of the Otago touring team and the Canterbury Rugby Union were also present. In unveiling tho memorial, Mr Wilson expressed tho sympathy of Otago footballers wilh Mrs Morris and her family in their bereavement. Tho scroll was erected to mark the esteem in which the late Mr Morris was hold. Tho team wished to pay its respects to a footballer, who was a sport and a gentleman.
