STRIKES DURING FOG. Press Association—B* telegraph—Copyright VANCOUVER, July 29. The Siberian Prince went ashore on Brunswick Island, near Victoria, during a fog.—A. and N.Z. Cable. The Siberian Prince, which was formerly known as the Baron Lovat, is a steel vessel of 5604 tons gross, and was built by Messrs Russell and Co. at Port Glasgow in 1915 for the Peareth Steam Ship Company (Ltd.) (Furness, Withy, and Co., Ltd., managers), of Newcastlo-on-Tyne. She is fitted with submarine signalling apparatus and wireless, and is of the following dimensions: —Length, 423 ft sin; breadth, 56ft: and depth, 28ft 7in. THE VESSEL REFLOATED. EXTENT OF DAMAGE UNKNOWN. VANCOUVER, July 29. (Received July 30, at 8.15 p.m.) The steamer Siberian Prince was refloated and towed to Victoria. The extent of the damage is unknown.—Reuter.
