(Received July 25, at 8.5 p.m.) In a sensational street hold-up in Toronto six bandits engaged in'a pistol battle and wounded the bank messengers. The robbers then escaped with a bag containing 50.000 dollars. The messengers, who were returning from the Clearing House, put up a desperate struggle, and saved other bags containing a large sum of money, the exact amount of which is not divulged.—A. and N.Z.
