ANNUAL CONFERENCE. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND. June 22. The annual conference of the Raifway Officers’ Institute is being held here. The president (Mr J. R. Robertson) occupied the chair. In his opening address the President advocated that a strong endeavour bo made, to have the increase in salaries granted during tho war period consolidated. Practically all tho day was spent in discussing hours of work and overtime, but no decision was reached.
