ATTEMPTS TO STABILISE MARKET. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrig'-i NEW YORK, June 21. Tire Wheat Conference at Chicago rejected v by a two-to-one majority a resolution providing for the establishment of a Grain Corporation for the purpose of buying all American farmers’ wheat when the price descended to 150 cents a bushel. It was the opinion of the conference that wheat prices would be stabilised, bnt by increase in domestic consumption rather than by a Government subsidy.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
