At Addington market there was a sharp rise in the prices of fat lambs and sheep to-day, and a slight recovery in beef prices. Store sheep also sold spiritedly. Store Sheep.—A good yarding for a winter sale, and an improved market for all classes, notably forward' wethers. There were very lew passing. Good forward four and six-tooth halfbred wethers, 30s 5d to 31s; ordinary four, six, and eight-tooth wethers, 20s 6d to 23s 8d; cull four, six, and eight tooth wethers, 18s to 20s; fairly good four, six, and eight-tooth halfbred ewes in lamb, 29s to 31s 9d; ordinary halfbred iour, six, and eight-tooth ewea in lamb. 25s 6d to 295; good failing-mouthed crossbred ewes in lamb, to 30s 3d; four, six, and eight-tooth crossbred ewes in lamb, to 29s 2d; aged ewes in lamb, 12s 6d to 17s; halfbred ewe hoggets, to 26s Id; ordinary ewe hoggets, 22s to 23s T mixed sex hoggets, 19s to 225; crossbred wether hoggets, 16s to 20s 6d; cull wether hoggets, 9s 9d to 14s.
